St. Patrick’s Day Parade
The city of Sherman will host a St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 14, at 11 a.m. The parade is free and is presented by the Texoma Society of CELTS and the Old Iron Post.
Insect Collecting at Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge
Spend the day at the Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge learning about and collecting insects. This presentation will teach you how to collect and prepare the insects you find. It will be held on March 14.
Sherman Celtic Festival & Highland Games
If you love all things Celtic, be sure to visit the 4th Annual Sherman Celtic Festival on March 21 and 22. There will be live Celtic music, a dog show feature Celtic breeds, pipe and drum bands, Celtic foods, and traditional Scottish highland games.
Everything But the Gun
At this self-defense training class, you can learn the skills you need to defend yourself, when a firearm is not available. This six-hour immersive training class is hosted by the Texoma Chapter of A Girl and A Gun. It will be held March 28, at the Travis Masonic Lodge in Sherman.
