The 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has been anticipated for a long time. Ever since Chevy announced the next generation of the famed sports car would have a mid-engine build for a more evenly distributed weight, drivers have been clamoring to know more about the vehicle’s power and performance capabilities. At long last, Chevy has revealed more information about the Corvette Stingray specs.
The all-new 6.2-liter LT2 V8 will deliver 490 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. You can also opt for the available performance exhaust system, which will give the engine a boost to 495 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. Additionally, the available Engine Appearance Package offers carbon fiber components and special LED lights that highlight the V8 engine, which is already visible through a rear window.
The Z51 Performance Package adds even more flair to the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (or C8, as enthusiasts are calling it). Equipped with all the latest performance tech, the Stingray can accelerate 0 to 60 miles per hour in 2.9 seconds. Even without the performance package, the Corvette Stingray can achieve 60 mph in 3.0 seconds thanks to the vehicle’s unique “Track Mode” and innovative transmission.
